Click on highlighted title to view selection. 1943 All-Star Signed Baseball. 23 signatures on a Ford Frick National League baseball including Phil Cavaretta, Jo Jo White, Vern Stephens, Clyde McCullough, Red Kress, Bob Muncrief, Phil Masi, Thurman Tucker, Al Campanis, Jack Salveson, Lou Novikoff, George Caster, Pete Coscarart, Kerby Farrell, Bobby Burke, Dick Siebert, Al Unser, Butch Nieman, Joe Schultz, Ray Hamrick, Paul Erickson and Newell Kimball. The signatures are all bold. These players played for various teams in 1943 and the signatures were likely gathered at several games. The ball is in nice condition with light labeling. A nice unlabeled baseball autographed by 24 members of the 1955 Seattle Rainiers including: Monty Basgall, Larry Jansen, Howie Judson, Vic Lombardi, Carmen Mauro, Elmer Singleton, Ray Orteig, Ryne Duren, Bobby Balcena, Johnny Oldham, Gene Verble, Art Schulte, Bob Kelly, Harvey Zernia, Lou Ortiz, Bill Kennedy, Bill Brenner, Tony Martinich, Alan Strange, Jack Bukowatz, George Schmees, Joe Ginsberg and Jay Heard. The autographs are bold with the exception of the Gene Verble, Bob Kelly and Art Schult autographs which are light. One panel has 2 small spots. One sweet spot has some tape residue and a couple of red marks and the other sweet spot appears to have had an autographed scuffed off. The ball is in overall excellent condition with bold signatures. 1911 Raised Embossed Baseball Postcard Autographed by Joe Hauser. I had Joe Hauser sign this beautiful postcard several years ago because he grew up near Randolph Wisconsin where this card is postmarked and was playing baseball as a youth in 1911. The postcard is an incredibly detailed embossed relief postcard showing a pitcher with 3 players behind him and wooden stands full of people. The uniform is beautifully detailed down to the high top cleats. Beautifully autographed. Very nice condition. 3 1/2 x 5 1/2. Comes with certificate of authenticity. Beazley won 21 games as a rookie for the 1942 Cardinals then spent 3 years in the service. He won 9 games total the remainder of his career. The third signature is Denny Galehouse who played with the St. Louis Browns from 1941-47. Bold pencil signatures. Has minor scrapbook damage on back, nice otherwise. Comes with certificate of authenticity. Ex/Mt $50 1950's Washington Senators Cloth Sticker Autographed by Cecil Travis. 3" in diameter. Still has cadboard backing. Cecil Travis played with Washington from 1933-47 and has a .314 lifetime batting average. Comes with certificate of authenticity. Ex+ $40 Roy Carlyle Signed Check. Carlyle had a distinguished career in both the Major Leagues and the Pacific Coast League. His career in the Major Leagues was short but he played for 3 teams including the 1926 Yankees and compiled a .318 lifetime batting average. His most notable acheivment came in 1929 while playing for the Oakland Oaks when he hit the longest home run in baseball history-618 feet. This home run is well documented. Carlyle's brother Cleo is one of the all time PCL greats. Roy Carlyle died in 1956. Comes with certificate of authenticity. Ex/Mt $75 Dolph Camilli Signed Check. If Gil Hodges was Brooklyn's greatest first sacker then Dolph Camilli was runner up. The 1941 National League MVP had many outstanding seasons with the Cubs, Phillies and Dodgers from 1933-47.
